Community Meeting (Virtual)

The focus of this meeting will be continuation of business from the March meeting including review and approval of beach rules and revisions to some amendments, as directed by the members. This falls under Old Business, but we will bring this item up to the top of the agenda or as soon as we have a quorum.

REMINDER: Last month, members approved the One Vote Per Household amendment. Additionally, members approved the requirement for a quorum when making changes to bylaws. This month, we incorporate a member-suggested revision to the quorum amendment adding the word, households, (no fewer than 20 members/households must be in attendance.)

This means that members in one household should join the meeting on one computer only. We will need 20 households represented to consider amendment changes. Last month, we had 21 households, so let’s wrap up the business!

This meeting will be held entirely virtually, with no physical location as a gathering point. The voting process will be smoother and faster, and everyone will be able to see who is in attendance. We are excited to take this next step to improve our ability to reach our members as efficiently as possible.

The only suggested revision from the March meeting is to add the word, nonmotorized, when describing watercraft allowed to launch on the left side of the boat ramp. The Executive Committee added a clarifying word at #15 - short term rentals and new language regarding trash..
