Henry W. Luther Playground

Named after the late Henry W. Luther, the LPIA playground is located at the bottom of Laurel Lane with a view of the river. It is framed on the north along the road by seven, stately maple trees. The expansive grassy area is suitable for lawn games. The park also features a bocce court and two swing sets, one which was installed by the late Guy Francis and his brother in 1998. Many social events are conducted in the playground, including community meetings.

Laurel Park residents are encouraged to help keep the park clean. Containers for recyclables and trash are provided for waste generated in the park during social events. Members are reminded to pick up after their pets and avail themselves of the dog waste station. Owners with their dogs/pets may use the park between Oct. 1st and May 1st, annually.

Parents are reminded to supervise young children when using the playground. Safety first!
