2025 Beach, Parking Lot, and Playground Rules

Rules adopted April 16, 2025

The use of the Association’s facilities is limited to members and their guests.

  1. Members should conduct themselves in a respectable and welcoming manner.

  2. Unaccompanied guests must carry membership tag(s) for a current member when at the beach, parking lot or playground.

  3. Members must be responsible for their guests.

  4. Vehicle parking is restricted to the parking lot and the south side of Laurel Lane.

  5. Vehicles may enter the beach area to load/unload, or to assist a member or a guest in need.

  6. Small, non-motorized, watercraft may launch from, and land in, the swim area, adjacent to the boat ramp.

  7. All boats must remain off the marsh.*

  8. Pets are prohibited from the playground and swimming area from May 1- October 1.

  9. Combination locks for the gates are restricted to member use only.

  10. Members who unlock the gate to the beach should relock it after passing through.

  11. Members must be responsible for locking the gate at the parking lot if yours is the last vehicle.

  12. No shell fishing in the beach area, or when the river is closed.**

  13. No lifeguard on duty. No diving. Swim at your own risk.

  14. Children under 10 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult when swimming or using the beach or playground.

  15. Property owners who use their property for short-term rentals may not reference LPIA amenities in their advertising. Short-term renters are not allowed access to LPIA properties.

  16. No smoking or leaving trash on LPIA-owned property, unless in an LPIA receptacle.

  17. Officers will review complaints and enforce the rules in a reasonable and expeditious manner.
