Rules adopted April 28, 2024
The use of the Association’s facilities is limited to members and their guests.
No person eligible for membership can be a guest.
Guest must bring proof of current membership (tag or membership card).
The member must be responsible for their guest.
Vehicle parking is restricted to the parking lot.
Vehicles may enter the play and beach area to load or unload only.
No boats are allowed in the swimming area.
Pets are allowed in the play and swim areas October 1 - April 30. Please Click Here for information on canine etiquette and relevant state law.
A gate will be maintained at the beach entrance to discourage non-member use.
Keys are restricted to member-use only. Maximum of two keys per membership. Nominal fee applies.
Members who unlock this gate should relock it directly after passing.
No shellfishing in the beach area.
All boats must remain off the marsh per order of the RI Coastal Resources Management Council.
No lifeguard on duty. No diving. Swim at your own risk.
Parents it is your responsibility to accompany and supervise your children when they are swimming or using the beach.
Property owners who use their property for short term rentals are not to use LPIA properties in their advertising, and the renters are not allowed access to LPIA properties.
Either by observation or complaints by members, any officer is obliged to enforce (in a reasonable manner) the above rules.
