Lincoln Avenue Presentation

This will be an evening Google Meet presented by Mark Ringiewicz, member of the Lincoln Avenue subcommittee, and E. Jenny K. Flanagan, a professional real estate appraiser with over 25 years of experience. She is also the past president / current Treasurer of the Warren Land Trust (WLT). The WLT is a private, nonprofit 501 (c)3 organization founded in 1987 to protect open space in Warren. The WLT owns marshland parcels both north and immediately south of LPIA’s on the western shore of the Kickemuit River.

In March, Stu Latessa, member of the Lincoln Avenue subcommittee, gave Jenny a tour of the parcel, after which she met with Mark and Pam Eliason to discuss the pros and cons of various options (hold/sell/donate). From their collective discussions and determinations, Jenny prepared a report and a Power Point presentation that includes potential uses for this property, a table of pros and cons, background information (zoning, tax assessment) as well as maps to help members visualize the options.

We are extremely grateful for Jenny’s assistance—the report is WAY better than one we could ever give you, and it affords members a solid basis on which to make informed decisions. We highly recommend members preview the report in advance of the meeting. Simply click here.
