At 4 PM please join us down at the beach and share in the LPIA dedication and affixing of a permanent marker to honor Ann Morrill and her steadfast dedication to preserving the Kickemuit River. This is a well-deserved recognition to her and her family.
At 5 PM, adults, and more importantly children, are welcome down to the playground to walk, ride their July 4th decorated bicycles, or hop on a Kids train that should be available for the annual LPIA kids parade through the neighborhood. Please cheer them on as they go by your street.
Around 6 PM, the annual picnic celebration at the Playground with Burgers and Hot Dogs, various member-provided sides, desserts, and drinks (BYOB) begins. Enjoy some time with the neighbors. Corn hole games, Bocce and other activities may be taking place as well.
After this, as darkness approaches, watch the beach parking lot and the sky over the beach for the annual LPIA bonfire and excellent fireworks display from our friends who each year honor their family and its strong ties to the LPIA.
